２月のJEEF定例会は、UKにおけるパキスタンコミュニティの人たちの暮らしの向上や社会起業家育成のために政財学界にとどまらず、各方面で活躍されて いるDatu Dr. Shaukat Nawaz Khan氏をお招きし、これまでのご経験と神経言語学に基づいた知識から「起業に必要なこと」をテーマに、起業家が知っておくべきプレッシャーとの上手な付き合い方や人間関係の築き方についてお話を伺います。

1972 年ウガンダにおけるアジア人国外追放事件において、Ugandan Asia Resettlement Board in Londonの議長を務めた後、1974年、アジア系として初めてレスターのStudent Union代表およびRegional National Union of Studentsの副代表に選出される。 その後、約10年に亘り、様々な団体にて幹部を歴任。

1987年にアジア系で初めてノッティンガム市議に選出。
アートの世界との繋がりも強く、Chairman of Dr. Allama Iqhal Academy in London, Mehfil-e.zaug, and Asia arts Councilも務めている。 また、Karachi大学では社会科学の客員講師として教育に携わる傍ら、他大学でも教鞭を執っており、Karachi大 学、Urdu大学のアカデミックリサーチジャーナルのエディトリアルボードでもある。
彼の活躍は、英国内そして海外でも認められており、様々なアワードを受賞しています。
